The King’s Training Panama team is made up of individuals who are experts in their fields, bringing a wide range of experiences and knowledge, and who represent many sectors. Samantha Whay-Jenkins, Director of King’s Training Panama

Samantha has been involved in training since 1990 and is currently the Training Director for King’s College in Panama and is responsible for all aspects of internal training along with growing the external consultancy business.  After just 3 years working in the corporate arena here in Panama, King’s Training can boast as clients some of the most important companies in the country and have successfully formed partnerships helping staff develop in areas such as Leadership, Communication, Customer Service, and Train the Trainer.  She is also the lead on an extensive 7 year training plan with MEDUCA, the Ministry of Education in Panama, designed to raise the overall competence and professionalism of English Teaching Staff throughout the country.

Jamie Mou

Jamie is a licensed Psychologist, with a Master of Science in Project Management, and since 2003 she has been actively involved in Learning and Development roles in the Hospitality, and aviation industries.

Her main areas of expertise are developing training contents, starting from the analysis to the design and delivery, within a participant centered approach.

Lisa Markham

Lisa was born in Scotland but spent most of her childhood growing up in the coastal city of Plymouth, England. Although she is British she considers herself very international as she has spent almost all of her adult life living in Spain, Holland and now Panama.

Lisa holds a BA Honours degree in Business Management (specialist Tourism and Spanish) from Hertfordshire University, England. She has almost 20 years experience in teaching English as a Second Language and has the official CELTA, ‘Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults’, qualification from the University of Cambridge.

Julian Wood

Julian was born and lived for many years in the UK, working in travel and tour operating sales and marketing he moved to London to continue his management career in 1988 where he worked in various locations as a Thomas Cook manager in central London locations, gaining experience in Human Resource and Profit management, also working in Human Resources and Training positions within the company

After a short period as the travel manager in Harrods Department Store he project managed a new travel agent in London which specialized in High profile clientele and incorporated a Ski operations and Hotel representation (Soho Travel)
